Dog Grooming

This includes, 

• A thorough health checker from tip of nose to end of tail, to spot any early signs and guide you on what we have found. 

• A double shampoo and conditioner to make sure the coat is thoroughly cleansed for styling.

• All the dog's nails cut the correct and appropriate length, not only important for when shaping the foot but also not to inhibit the dogs gait. 

• Ear cleaning, to make sure that no nasty ear wax is lingering. 

• Styling, this is to the owners request to make the pooch look fabulous. This includes all clipper and scissor work, with specialist and advanced breed specific knowledge, from your fully qualified and multi award winning dog groomer, who has competed nationally and won first prize. I can do from your show trims to your pet friendly trims for the dog walks and everything in between. 

• All finished with a pet friendly cologne, so they are irresistible.

Much like our full groom, but tailored to those double coated breeds, that are leaving undercoat all over your home. This services would include

• A double shampoo and intense conditioner to make sure the coat is thoroughly cleansed for styling.

• All the dog's nails cut the correct and appropriate length, not only important for when shaping the foot but also not to inhibit the dogs gait. 

• Ear cleaning, to make sure that no nasty ear wax is lingering. 

• With a heavy focus of removing all undercoat, and thinning out the coat to help circulate airflow whilst reducing shedding. We have access to a variety of specialist tools, more than just a simple bath and brush. 

• For smooth coated dogs, with the needle fur that gets all over you, this is less about removing undercoat but getting rid of all of the those fur and de shedding the guard hairs that are loose and ready to be removed, leaving your home fur free. 

• All finished with a pet friendly cologne, so they are irresistible.

This is included all with all Full grooms. Nail trimming is an important part of your dogs maintenance and too long nails can even be detrimental to your dogs health in the most severe cases. A Nail trimming includes;

• All dog's nails cut to the correct length.

• Expert guidance on early signs of gait/mobility impacts.

• Reshaping of curved nails.

• Guidance on when is an appropriate time for veterinary intervention, whether it be broken nails or potential discussions with dew claw removal. 

• The ability to grind nails to take off the sharpness.

This is included within all of our full grooms, we are able to spot early signs of ill health and direct you to seek veterinary advice.

• All ears cleaned with specialist dog sensitive ear wash.

• Able to offer guidance on your dogs ear health. 

Ideal for those in between grooming sessions, or for elderly dogs that just need a slight touch up.

This includes:

• Clipping of the arm pits and groin with a skin safe blade.

• Use of specialist dog grooming scissors to shape your dogs head, neaten up the fringe and let them see the world again. 

This is our recommendation for puppies, a very important process to get them used to, regardless of breed and will significantly reduce any aversion to professional grooming in the future. All puppy grooms are unique to the individual dog and we will always be guided by their behavioral cues whist keeping it a positive experience for the dog. This service includes;

• The double shampoo with puppy shampoo. 

• The use of dog driers to get them used to the sensation.

• Light pet styling with clippers and scissors.

• A full health check from tip of nose to end of tail.
